In the same Plaza as Mulligans....Awesome!!!!

I'll probably head down tomorrow and check it out. I'll get some cellphone pictures and post them up. It would be nice to see them compete with Kames and force Kames to run ammo specials via the email and app more than discounts on flip flops/motor X stuff.

Didn't make it down today.

Did have a flyer in the Local Paper nothing mind blowing. 10.99 CCI Aluminum, etc..etc... I gave them a call to check and see if they had an M&P Shields in stock and they did, but they were priced at $429.99.

Maybe I can convince the Mrs we should have date night, guns and Prime Rib...nom...nom

I made it down to today and the store is very nice, bright and clean. I left my cellphone in the car when I was packing up the my daughter so no pictures.

Its in a pretty good location acrossed the street from the backside of Summit Mall, but the traffic pattern in the area may present problems. The parking situation is going to be an annoyance as well, the store shares a parking lot and is right next to an Aldi's. Play It Again Sports, Mulligans Pub, and several small business all share the relatively small parking lot. I was there at approximately 11am on a Friday and opted to park closer to the back of the lot instead of hunting for a spot closer. IMHO, it always was a weird parking lot, layout wise, with the addition of Fin, Fur and Feather its going to be interesting.

The Story itself still smelled new and was very clean, with a large well organized selection of outdoors stuff. They had ample people working the floor and I had half a dozen employees ask me if I needed any help while I was meandering through the aisle. I asked a couple of questions like"Do you have any Federal 12ga #1 shot in stock", the reply was lets go check. They didn't have any and the employee replied that the Federal Rep was coming by today or tomorrow and he would ask about it.

The gun counter was typical FFF, which is to say, ludicrous. Why they don't embrace the meat counter ticket like Vance's and other places I have no idea. They were well staffed but there was a arge crowd for it being 11am on a Friday. AFAIK that is the way all the FFF locations are so its not a really surprise. There didn't seem to be any exceptional deals as I was glancing but I wasn't looking super hard.

Ammo, they had lots of it. Some on pallets in the front left of the store, the rest on aisle and end-caps. I shoot mostly 9mm and it was nice to see a large selection but the "sale prices" weren't anything to get excited over. $10.99 CCI Alum, $11.99 CCI Brass.....They did have Remington UMC white/green box priced at $11.99 regular which although not a bargin isn't bad if Wallyworld is out of Federal or there is no other sale going on.

For other Ammo its pretty much typical Gun store prices. The new Hornady Critical Duty in 9mm was 23.95/per 20, which is basically double the cost of what you can purchase it for online.

Overall the new store is approximately 25 minutes from my little slice of heaven up here in Akron which will probably having me finding things to do in Canton in the near future. Don't discount other retailers in the area like Kames Sportings goods, sign up for their Email specials and smart phone app and you can get Federal 9mm for $9.99 on occasion (like right now).

For guys traveling or those who are out with their SO, stop in a Mulligan's Pub. I didn't stop by to see if it is posted, but the Prime Rib and French Onion soup are excellent.

Mucho Thanks, Breedy!

yeah––with the "panic" now going on with buying ammo, I do not see any "bargains" until AFTER this 6 NOV when it's President-elect Romney.

FFF in Canton should give Kames a run for their money.

When I worked at Belden Village, the Dick's store over by Homo-Depot never had any deals on ammo....

Stopped in today with my dad. Got him signed up for their birthday flier and scored 20% off a pocket knife.

The place was a zoo... XM855 in 420 round cans for $200. XM127 in 175 round cans for $100. They had a few pallets of Blazer up front, but was mostly there window shopping. The store looks a LOT like the Cleveland store.

FYI, they are not open carry friendly. Concealed is fine, otherwise guns have to be checked and mags unloaded.
