Drop your Bank of America accounts
Bank of America dropped McMillan Mfg Accounts
Anyone hear about this? I don't venture into GD so I have no idea if it was posted there or not. Apparently this is true and happened last week.
If you have accounts with them and have deep care for your 2A rights, I suggest banking elsewhere.

It was front page on Foxnews.com yesterday. I don't know why a financial institution would have any care where your legal dollars are coming from.
There are 87 threads in GD.
ETA: Spelling like a tard today

Good to know it is being spread around then. I just came across it so I figured I would pass it on.
I found they were assholes over 20 years ago and dropped them immediately. Noobs.
Washington Mutual and Compass Bank are shitstains too.
Just as a side note I attend a lot of fraud investigator meetings, and let me tell you some of these cases involving credit unions might make you re-think the big corporate banks
But yeah f boa

Care to elaborate on the CU part? Are you saying they are the perpetrators of fraud?
As far as I know there isn't a good bank out there.I have heard lots of horror stories about BoA so I stayed away from them. I ended up originally going with Washington Mutual because I loved their customer service. I tried a secured credit card with them and they lied to me about everything, there was nothing at all secure about it and I ended up getting hit with more fees than I could have ever imagined. Than Chase bought them out and my account was transferred over there and all was well until Chase started random fees here and there. I have looked for a new bank and asked around but they all seem to be just as bad.
Oh forgot to mention I was with Sunwest Credit Union for awhile and they also sent me tons of fees, more than chase.
I have never been a BoA customer so no trouble there for me. WellsFargo or the CU back home is where we do our banking. Never complaints with either of them between accounts, loans, or credit cards.
I used to bank with Standard Federal a hundred years ago. They got swallowed up by BoA along the way and I dreaded the heartache that was sure to follow. A long time ago when this happened, it was very much a pain in the ass to port all your account info and links over to a new financial institution, so I got lazy and let it ride with BoA for a while.
Then when my business grew, they offered me a very competitive line of credit for that. I had three corporate checking accounts and three personal checking or savings accounts with them. No mortgage.
In all these years I have never *once* had any kind of an issue with them and they have always bent over backwards to make me happy.
There was one particularly retarded teller at the last branch in Michigan I used. While trying to (poorly) up sell me with a scripted pitch, she mentioned out loud the amount of money I had in a money market account in front of about four people waiting in line behind me. I went and talked to the branch manager with whom I had a relationship and told her how that made me feel. Literally the next day I never saw that teller again...I dunno if she was fired or transferred or what, but they took the transgression very, very seriously.
And I'm not 100% that I buy the McMillan story hook, line, and sinker. I'm not of the ilk that just because a company is enormous that it is automatically evil.
eta - I'm not boycotting Italian gun makers, either.

Yes, they all suck.
I recently switched to Chase from a "small" bank because they were waaaay into what I was doing with that money I withdrew/dep'ed
FYI Chase will waive those fees for vets...just show dd214

Nice, I'll call them tomorrow and ask about that.
Wellsfargo FTW!
Students can get free checking and they are trying to align their military account holders to be the same as navy fcu.
I ve had them since i was 12. No issues.ever....
Thanks, I'm going to Wells Fargo. Chase and Bank of America can suck my dick.
BoA should change their name to avoid shaming our country. Assholes.
dealt with some shitty banks. Been at US bank for about 7 years now. They bend over backwards to fix any issue I have.

In 40 years of banking and 20+ in business, I can say that WF is the worst bank I've ever dealt with. They just seem to fuck up everything they touch. Dealing with them is almost as bad as dealing with the government. BofA isn't much better, I dumped their asses long ago.
Covering one wall at the Wells Fargo down the street from me is a mural depicting a huge Peso note. Yea, it's that stupid. I wrote them an email the day after I saw it and gave them 30 days to get it down or I'd close all my accounts. That was several years ago and it's still there.

Ummmm.... So you demanded they repaint one of their buildings? And then closed your account because they did not comply?
Well that makes fiscal sense to me................
BASF wouldn't sell me plastic because I was using it to make small arms components. The sales rep told me how I could get around it, but I just said no thanks and went with RTP, they were excited to help me make guns
