Pennsylvania HTF, hope you don't mind a New Yorker dropping in. (I will not tax you with our ridiculous rates for reading this )

I am on the Fire Rescue Team at Watkins Glen International

I'm posting here to see if any one else is interested in doing this or any of the following.

Who we are:
Race Services Inc. A team that provides Fire Rescue, Race Medical, Flagging and Communications, Track Clean Up, Paddock control at the track.

What we do:
Fire Rescue, as it sounds, responding to accidents on track. Race Medical staffs grandstand EMS, on fire trucks, in pits, and infield care center. Flagging & Comm mans the flag stations around the track and is the eyes and ears of the track. Track Clean up mans trucks and cleans up after crashes, repairs guard rail, so on. Paddock directs teams to and from garage, onto pits, truly an up close aspect to the action and drivers.

Compensation:
There is no compensation. This is volunteer. Very clear, this is volunteer. You are able to camp at the track for free, receive a guest pass for spectator events.

It is hard to detail all the aspects here.
If interested at all, PM me.

This is a great fun time.

***Now the PSA. I am in no way compensated for this. Just hoping to find folks also interested in the sport. We have a great time, form great friendships, much like here. Spoke to Ed Sr and he feels this is an okay subject to openly post.***

Sounds good to me. If I still lived in Pa, I`d take you up on the offer.
