 Draco for open carry

So does anybody know the overall length of a stock draco pistol? Not the mini draco but the normal like a C variant.
Washington state requires all handguns being open carried to be 18" or less.

My C is 20 3/8" with a barrel nut on.

Where would you open carry a Draco if you don't mind me asking?

Did you make that up? Can you provide some citation for this?

I'm pretty familiar with open carry and the RCWs and I can't find anything to support your assertion.

When hiking in AZ I secured mine to the side of my pack with a towel over it. Didn't want to be mistaken for a mule/coyote but I figured it could handle anything (bear, javelina, men lion etc.)

Sometimes I decide to be that kind of guy, just to be that kind of guy. I can't remember which RCW it was but my buddy and I were researching them and stumbled across it on one of the official state sights. Not just being a doucher. However to think of it it may have been for concealed carry.. or both.

Hey, I don't walk around with a video camera or a tape recorder, it is just expressing my right as a CPL holder. But in reality for open carry in the woods without the local Forest ranger trying to throw me in prison every chance he gets.

First, don't be That Guy. Please. You make life harder for the rest of us.

Second, state websites are full of bullshit, as are state publications. WDFW hunter safety material, for example, teaches that it is not only illegal to hunt with a machine gun in WA state, but that they are out-and-out illegal nationwide. Read the actual RCWs if you're after the law.

Where would one find the "actual" RCW's. As far as I know, they were the "actual" RCW's. And to whether I open carry it or not I plan to abide by the laws that we are held to and not overstep or cause any indiscretion.

Oh what the holy hell is going on here.

Alright, my bad. That is the place we were looking up the RCW's by the way. We found an assortment of RCW's pertaining to carrying, both open and concealed, in an attempt to create a notecard with the #'s so for any reason we get hassled we have leverage.

Right, this piece of paper will totally keep an officer from laying you out. Just pull it out real quick before he gets to you so he can read it.

Quit being so childish, for a reference you meatsticks.
And for the matter I'm making my draco into a rifle so someone might as well delete this thread before more Keyboard Bandits come to the fray.

Then why did you ask?

And that meatsticks comment, watch yourself, buddy. Some people consider those types of comments "Personal attacks". Not me, I am a meat stick...well, meat popsicle, but others... Ya never know.

Wowza... The trolling is hard with this guy.

If you want to be here. Please learn to play nice. People asked why you would want to do such a thing. Understandable, especially when you are wanting to flaunt in public a firearm widely recognized as being an aggressive firearm that people of the liberal moonbat status typically go after.

As PCR stated calling names is not that wise. If you want to call names, there are other forums you can go to and do that. Some on this board, and others off this board.

Thank you and have a nice day.

WOAH WOAH WOAH!

Please, do tell how you plan on converting that bad boy to a rifle. While not entirely impossible seems like quite a bit of work to convert a Romanian AK pistol to a Romanian AK rifle.

Ok, I figured it out. Sorry for being rude.

Quite easy actually:

1. hog out all the rivets
2. Throw away rear "trunion" (Centruy fabbed item IIRC)
3. Throw away Barrel group (Can't use it on a rifle, too short)
4. Keep Bolt group and trigger group (Spares are nice)
5. Throw away receiever (It's ruined from the rivet work)
6. Buy Romanian AK Rifle kit
7. Buy pre bent receiver
8. Buy compliance parts
9. Rivet back together

You have your rifle. Again, sorry about that.

No way...

I bought it for way less than that. I'll have to sell it off... I dont really have a need for it and I have been wanting an AR10 pretty bad. Either the RRA 20" Operator or the CMMG's 18" version with the gas block under the HG and the PRS already on it.

It puts an east $400 to my future AR10.

You might want to wait until hopefully the SBR law passes. Then, you could build something like this - http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_4_98/129664_.html&page=1

Probably one of the coolest SBR'd Draco's around IMHO. And if the SBR law does pass, I'm definitely building one!

I am not sure why you would want to convert this to a rilfe but it's doable. All you need to do is weld on some extended flash hider and make sure you have a US fire control and pistol grip. then it's your choice depending on the origin of the stock change out the piston or us a us Stock. I have seen a conversion like this w/the Romy sidefolder and it looked not too bad... I just don't like the long flash hider. The most difficult part would be removing the rear trunion and welding up old holes on the reciever before drilling new holes and riveting on a a new trunion if you want to go w/a standard mounted ak stock. I would only do it if it were built into an AIMR SBR myself. Get a G kit and build that up or by a WASR.

ETA. I thought they used virgin Romanian Underfolder rear trunion blocks or they used to anyways. These come fully assembled in Romania and need no US parts as they are imported as pistols.
