Why no Battle Royal ??

Is no one interested this year? Did Team CrEePiNg DeAtH ruin it by winning the last 2 times (smack talk inserted)?

I know quite a few Northies that were looking forward to this.

I think pballjunkie got tired of organizing it all only to have people complain about the date, the scoring system, the weather, etc. Plus he's been recovering from a shoulder injury. Just my opinion.

Yeah, I remember the bitchin' and whining last year........and unfotunately I was one of them. If Pballjunkie will let Me.....I will offer to run the event this year.......to make-up for my whining last year??

I was wondering about this myself.

DB&G - let me know if I am still the 2nd alternate on the team or if there is a chance to make the varsity this year.

I guess with the weather we are having, we Northies can't bitch as much about the cold as in the past.

We can bitch about who gets Steve this year if the weather continues to be this nice.

My offer still stands, regardless of bitchin' and whining.........I'll run it this year, if they (?) let me

There is no "they" to ask permission. Pball ran the show for a long time and I kind of half assed it once. Feel free to organize it.

The get-together for the 2010 BR @ the Carson Range was a good time...facking cold, but a good time nonetheless.

Then, pballjunkie666 took it over after I got tired of the BS.

I realize whining didnt help things last year, but it sounds like there was something else that made it not fun ? The 3-4 times I've done it with our team, we all had a blast ! But thats from the non-managing side of things. Is there something that could be changed to bring back the fun and interest that it started with ? Or was it doomed to go bad after the first couple of years ?

Either way, I hope people will still participate. Once you get out there at night, its pretty darn fun !! Hell, you southies could probably wear shorts this year.

If we cant round up enough teams, I guess it will have to be a local get-together thing.......some how, I'm gettin' me some rabbit...lol

I saw this guy yesterday. I threw him a piece of jerky and told him I would be back to collect later.

Looks like a boat ramp. Now the question is, which one. ;-)

This was at Echo Bay.

Typical 'yote call did nothing for him, but when I rattled the Costco jerky bag in his direction he couldnt run to the car fast enough.
He circled the car the whole way up the ramp.

Good eye on the boat ramp, BTW.
