I will be there for ammo deals and maybe one of the new Ruger 10/22 mags if I find it for under $25 at 9:00 on Saturday... Anyone else?

I might also grab a few more ammo cans depending on what I buy.

NFA carries the Ruger BX-25 mags for under $25. Don't forget, they have their truck show going on tomorrow.

How many cans do you need?

Crossroads show is in Reno this weekend, We're down in Vegas at the Rocky Mountain Show at South Point, plus we have our parking lot event with the Big Rock Truck on Saturday as well.

Should be quite the delay on hold with DPS for background checks tomorrow!

I might grab one or two of the .223 cans and maybe one .50 if they have 'em.

That weekend in February when we had Reno and Vegas shows on the same weekend made for some fun hold times, didn't it? Not looking forward to that again this weekend.

We will have a table at the Reno show this weekend. Nothing really new since the Big Reno Show last month. We have one New Frontier LW-15 polymer lower left and I expect that to go quick and about a dozen stripped New Frontier forged lowers that may or may not be gone before Sunday plus some used handguns and other stuff.

Our table is in one of the middle rows towards the back near the folks selling those surplus soft cooler bags.

Please stop by and say hi. It will be good to see the usual Reno suspects this weekend.

Drove all the way up there because of this post. Not only does NFA not have any of them, I was told that they don't ever stock the BX-25 mags and that it's a special order magazine.

I don't know who has their wires crossed here, but I was pretty perturbed to have wasted the gas and skipped the gun show where I would have most likely found some.

Did you call to ask and verify Internet info before you "got pretty perturbed to have wasted the gas and skipped the gun show where I would have most likely found some?"

Did you?

Just Wonderin'.

We do normally stock the BX-25. I just went out to verify. The peg is empty because we've been getting wiped out of magazines lately faster than they're coming in. People are coming in swiping 10-15 at a time.

Next time, you can call the store and verify what you're looking for is in stock, and we can put it at the register with your name on it so its ready to rock and roll when you walk in.

Sorry about the mis-communication.

They was a bunch at several of the big mag tables but I didn't check out the prices. I stick with the $10 Eagles because they have always worked 100% for me and have a lifetime warranty

Do you happen to remember who you talked to by any chance?

I'm admittedly bad with names. The gentleman helping us was from Washington and said he is a friend of Guido and only was here to help out for the event. He did ask the manager (?) who used to have the beard but shaved it recently (I wish I could remember his name) and that's when they said that you guys don't carry those mags.

For clarity, I'd like to state that everyone was super polite and helpful, but I was frustrated none the less because of not being able to get the mags I was hoping to have for a course next week. I wanted to keep the business local when I found out that you guys had them.

That was John. He's an awesome guy and very knowledgeable about guns, much more so than me. He was down here helping us out with our truck event so we wouldn't be so short handed like we've been in the past with big promo events. I'm sorry about the confusion. We do carry those mags but were probably just out of stock at the time you were looking for them. They're usually kept on the back wall right next to the Butler Creek mags.

Wow, you got on that quick! Hope the form comes back soon.

Overall, I think it was a pretty good show. It seemed like a lot of people were finding what they were looking for and a lot of vendors that I spoke with said it was a good show for them as well.

Personally, I will admit to doing something that I said that I never would - I bought some beef jerky at the gun show. I was stuck at my table by myself for such a long time and has just plain starving. I didn't want to leave the table unattended so I gave in and got some snacks from the jerky vendor that was across the aisle and about four tables down. While I should probably be giving myself a hard time about it, I will admit that jerky was damn good.
