Looking for bulk 5.45x39 near chicago.
Anyone have any ideas where to find a spam can or a good deal? RGUNS will be called in the morning, but i'd doubt they have any...

Maybe not a good deal, now, but most of the good online deals were back when they purchased the 5.45 when RGuns was giving it away (I was lucky enough to take adavantage of that, too). I'd be surprised if Rguns was out, especially since they are the ones suppplying >90% of the surplus 5.45. Good luck!

I bought 4 cases from RGuns back when they were selling it for $205 per case. That was back in early 2008.
Was at R Guns this morning. Took the last case off the floor. I was told they only have a few more left.

I know, I called GAT to see if they had any WOLF 223. The guy on the phone told me $7.95 for 55 grain and $11.95 for 62 grain for a box of 20. INSANE! You can buy 55 grain BRASS cased at Cabelas for $350 per 1K

wanna hear the kicker? after picking up a crate of 5.45 at rguns for 260 (2 spam cans), when i saw individual spam cans of 1080 rounds at gat guns, they had it there for $314 dollars.
almost 2.5 times the price.
