Geez. How come this show is so unpopular? Not one mention of it here yet?
I tried to go yesterday but I-64 was all backed up to Indian River Rd. Gave up for the day and went home. Settled for a trip to Harbor Freight instead.

I went out there again today. No traffic. Great show! No line at all all. Just a modest crowd. Easy to move around and look at stuff. I saw some great deals there too.
I had missed out on the Va. Gun Trader lowers. Or, so I had thought.

Zombie Defense and Coastal Gun Works at the gunshow both had some for sale! Thanks guys! I'll tuck that way for a rainy day. Tony's uppers had the LPK and bolt group I needed at a very fair price. Picked some other odds & ends too. Materials for my upholstery work I do. A small show. But great selection of stuff.
Anyone else here find some good stuff there? I've always had great luck at this show.
Went with a friend today, he got a PSA AR, and Mossberg 500 and a Sig .380 All much better prices than previous shows and all took a little off. Did'nt look at ammo, not with The Armory having a Memorial Day Sale.I got two hard cases (like you get when you buy a AR) for $15 each. Every table said they could do a little better than posted prices.
I just don't like to drive way over there from Hampton. Also Hpt. just had a show a couple weeks ago and I already spent my money.
I went on Saturday. I was trying to save money, since I need to buy a truck, but I haven't been to a gunshow in a long time so I figured I'd go anyway. There were some decent deals out there. Prices were better than most gunshows. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, but I found a couple factory XD .45 mags for $10 each and a couple sets of Colt New Service grips. All in all it was worth it for me. Smaller show, but sometimes those are the ones that you find deals in.

I remember paying $23 each for mine after I got the pistol.
Darksun had them in that box of mags they have. I was rumaging around and came up with the two XD mags. They didn't have a price, and I had to wait for a while until the right guy got enough time to decide how much they wanted. When he said "$10 each" I was happy that I waited to find out.

Usually this is my reason. This weekend though I was out of town.
Last time I went to VB, it wasn't worth the 40 minute drive, now with the Hampton show 15 minutes away. That being said, I'm sure the deals were better; I never find anything to get too excited over at Hampton.
