rumor going around now, that i've heard from from a city employee and a state employee,is that the elected city officals ran him off, said they didnt want a gun store in a "historic downtown" setting,i guess it's ok to have a subway (gotta eat) and god knows how many lawyers,a massage parlor and a cheesey t-shirt shop, was told they revoked his business permit and got the guy leaseing them the building to let them out of the lease,i hate this town

Wow - if that's true, that's crap.

It was a tiny store front and hardly an eyesore.

I was wondering what happened for it to disappear so quickly.

Sounds about right for this liberal ass shit hole.
A certain place of employment in town breeds and promotes that liberal bullshit.

What was the name of the shop or the owner himself? There is a new guy running Slingpoint in Lexington who says he did/does? run a gunshop in Georgetown. Seems like a good guy. The shop seems to be doing better now that new people are running it as well.

The only thing that came out of Georgetown is Toyota and its a damn shame that I have to drive there everyday.

Didn't the owner move here from another state too? That's a real nice welcome.
