I know it's been asked here before, but I can't find it. Where the hell can I buy red/white grain for huiman consumption locally? I can find places that sell feed grade, but not anything I would want for me or my family.
I want to do some long term storage and would rather not pay for shipping if I can avaoid it.
Local for me is Harford county and the surrounding area, but I'm willing to drive.
Maryland Homebrew has excellent prices on bulk grain. Most of it is malted, but they should have flaked wheat, rolled oats, and flaked corn as well. If they don't have it, they'll get it in a few days, no shipping charges.
Malted barley is almost all of my preps. You can bake with it just fine if the need arises.

Interesting. Thirsty Brewer is my LHBS. Gonna have to talk to him.

Just off Beltway, already canned.
x2. My UPS guy is LDS and he offered a few others in the area to go with him for grain. His stockpile is impressive to say the least.
