My daughter killed her first deer Sunday. I am one proud papa.

My 9 year old daughter killed her first deer during the youth season. I have been teaching her to shoot since she was 4. It payed off with a one shot kill right through the heart of this spike at 80 yards with a T/C Omega. 
That memory will stand out the rest of my life. she is already counting down the days till November 12.

Good job, Glad to see someone teaching thier kids something they can use instead of just setting them in front of a tv. Looks like the boys have some catchimg up to do.

WOW! I am grinning ear to ear as my 2 children (girls) are next to me watching t.v. They're both still young but I will soon have them out in the stands observing and getting a feel for it. Well congrats op you should be one proud dad!!!!!

Thanks everyone. I'm looking forward to firearms season to spend more time out there with my new hunting buddy. My youngest is chomping at the bit now, but she still has a few years learning to do.

Awesome! Good luck this season and have fun. I don't even think they have to shoot, just seeing a deer got mine excited to the point of getting her hooked. Then the next day she got a shot. I'm glad your daughter was inspired by this thread, I love to see kids involved in shooting and the outdoors. Congrats.

I just showed it to my 8 year old. She got all kinds of excited and wants to bowhunt
