Just got an email where a customer completed the purchase of a shield through my Davidson's Gallery of Guns account.
Might be worth a look if you want a S&W Shield.

I ordered one from them on Saturday, and went back on there today to get another one for the wife, and but it says there isn't any left right now. I've never bought a gun through Davidson so I'm hoping my order went through ok. Any idea how long it takes for the gun to get to the dealer that you selected during checkout?

They usually ship handguns Fed-Ex next day or second day air so you should have it hand Tuesday or Wednesday.

These are going to be below $400 as soon as they catch up. Are you really going to pay a premium to be a beta tester on a new gun?

GA Firing Line - $399 + tax = $424 - $25 range credit. that's where I got mine and they got more in yesterday. should have more today or tomorrow. I luv mine...

What shop and where in Dublin are you? Ill be in Macon first weekend in May, Ill have to swing by if I cant get one locally.
