It started as an April Fool's joke.........5.11 posted them and had a link if you wanted to be put on the waiting list. They got so much interest that they decided to do a limited run. So, now it ain't a joke and they're taking orders for real. At least, when I placed by order they charged my credit card!

This.......I have often though I might like to try it but I'm afraid I couldn't pull of wearing a kilt...
On occasion I have observed men in kilts and though it looked just fine and they wore it well but I'm afraid I would look like a hick in a skirt if I tried to rock a kilt.

For some reason I seem to recall seeing a lot of kilts at Dragon*Con and only guys with long unwashed hair and goofy looking beards wearing them.

I have worn a kilt before. It was wool, and I wore it as proscribed, therefore a touch uncomfortable in too warm of weather. Not bad in normal temps though.
5.11 is not offering them in my auld family (Ramsay) tartan though, whats up with that?
