I am in the process of selling a M16A1 kit to a guy in Utah

It is a complete kit 100% minus the lower receiver.

the buyer is not sure about the Laws in Utah.

Are there any RED FLAGS I Should know about in Utah ?

Are they aloud to own Kits ?

Are they allowed to own AR-15's ?
Thanks

It is legal to own in Utah, BUT...
unless he owns a registered machinegun, the auto sear and M16 FCG (auto disconnector, auto safety selector, and auto hammer) could get him into a lot of trouble.

Make sure he knows he has to either cut the hook off of the hammer and throw away/sell the disconnector/auto sear/selector/hammer. OR just take them out of the kit when you sell it to him.

Same laws as in AZ. i.e. the federal ones.
