A friend is looking at AR's. his local store has a bushy for over $850.00. I told him that he should be able to get a PSA or spikes for less money and its a better rifle. Are there any AR friendly stores in that area he should check out. someone that stocks PSA, Spikes, Colt or even Smith and Wesson at reasonable prices?

There are no black rifle friendly stores in Jackson. The closest would be the little sports shop located right next to the Texaco gas station in Alpine, Wy. For the life of me I cannot recall its name but he has a Class 3 license and stocks more black stuff than anyone else.

OK, you threw in the couple hours. A to Z Gun in Blackfoot, ID is a possibility.

Been there a couple of times, he builds beautiful guns. I plan to have him build my next long range gun.

Beartooth Gun In Billings is a bit of a drive but Dave is all about black guns. He is knowledgeable and stands behind everything he sells. I'm sure if you call and work out a deal, he would ship to a local FFL.

Thanks. the info was forwarded to him. Sounds like Wyoming needs a couple Turners Outdoorsman chain stores though. Hard to take advantage of those good gun laws if there is a lack of people selling them.

I don't remember seeing that place. Where it be? (granted, I've never been south of the McCoy Creek cutoff on 89)

The store is right inside the Texaco gas station which is pretty much in the center of Alpine. It is just a small shop to the right of the gas station.
