That should wake some people up. Some people don't expect things like this in Utah County.
Good shoot. I wish the guy (homeowner) and his family well.
I'm just surprised it hasn't happened sooner. I grew up in this area and ran with a bad crowd when I was younger. It wouldn't surprise me if I know who it was.
Plenty of bad stuff happening in unexpected places lately, just goes to show it can happen anywhere. The couple that were killed in Mt Pleasant a while back were the parents of a good friend of mine. Glad this one ended the way it did and not the other way around.
Regarding the locked door thing..... Over the last year and a half
I had two different people just walk right into my house during the day.
Both times I was really caught off guard and that disturbed me
deeply. After the first time we all locked the doors all the time and
then things slacked off and it happened again. We lock the doors
at night every day....
It dawned on me after the second time what was going on.
I live on a street with a same named street in another part
of town, the difference is one ends with N and the other
an S.... I live in the 3rd house on the left, just so happens
some teen punk drug dealers live in the third house on the left
on the other street. I am confident that these people were
customers and were told to walk on in to the 3rd house
on the left and ask for Sean.
So let this be an example on how something bad could
happen in a good neighborhood.
thats why I sleep with my loaded AK next to my bed and 1911 close to my hand

I was wondering if you have more details on what happened.
I have heard rumors that only one shot was fired. Do you know if this is true, what caliber was used, and where was the shot placed?
