Yeah...KTUU just had the joint APD/FBI press conference on.

I think just about every business in the Anchorage bowl or in the Palmer/Wasilla area has a flyer looking for information on her.

Not good at all.

newsminer had an article saying the body found north of anchorage wasn't hers. Was a guy.

I'll double check after dinner though.

That was a couple of weeks ago near Eklutna Lake. They found a body yesterday in Matanuska Lake in Palmer and it is a woman and believed to be Samantha.

The fact that they were able to pinpoint where she was and get her from underneath the ice leads me to believe that the killer led them to her
Her killer sure went through a lot of trouble to dispose of her body
I'm glad they finally found her

Well crap. I knew the odds were low but I was hoping she was still alive.

Rest in reace kiddo. Hope the murder dies in prison.

The fact that they found her after seizing a shed from Israel Keyes' property last week makes me wonder if he held her there first, or if there was other evidence in there. I didn't even hear about the police hauling the shed away until the recap of last week's news in the paper.

I was hoping so also. As was everyone, I'm sure. Really sucks. Too bad we don't have the death penalty.

Yea it sounds like it all fits together some how. It will all come out eventually.

Yeah, when there were no ransom demands, plus the fact she was a low status victim I figured she was a goner. There was no reason to keep a witness alive when the potential downside was so high and there was no payoff worth the risk of kidnapping.
