what's with Bender in everyone's avatars? Other than the fact that Bender is freaking awesome, of course.

Is it a Nebraska thing? Do I need to change my avatar to include Bender? Maybe Bender and Cookie sharing a fifth?

Fury started it, then FaucetFace (from CO) started providing photoshopped avatars with bender in them to people in the 24/365 threads.
