H&K MP5 A5 Rimfire .22 Legal in NJ ???
I was in one of my local shops recently and saw a GSG-5 for a little over $300. It was a neat little plinker, but over all I was not to impressed with the quality. H&K makes the MP5 A5 that is a .22. I know the MP5s are a no go in Jersey, but do you think if I were to some how get the stock pinned, it could be possible?
I seriously doubt it, but I wanted some feedback.

This is just my opinion:
The thing said HK mp5, BUT...its not really a Mp5, b/c mp5 takes 9mm and the one you want shoots 22lr.
Plus the parts are not interchangable with a real Mp5, thus not substantial identical as defined on the banned list.
So, some might argue that its saids its a mp5 on the receiver and its forbidden in NJ Commie land. But its just looks like a mp5, but in reality, its not.
I think if you get a fix stock, it should be OK.

I have the Anniversary Model GSG5 and it feels and looks plenty fine to me.
They are Uramex mp5 Replicas. HK licenses to them to use the name an styling.. they are not HK MP5's in .22
Thanks for the feedback. I'll try and see if they are willing to try and order it for me.
I read somewhere that the fake suppressor was a no go, ( BATFE ) said for them to change it.
