Looking for employment
Hello anybody around the central Texas area looking for an employee. The business that i worked for went belly up about 3 mos ago, needless to say I have been unemployed since then. I am a certified fireman and I am testing at different depts., but have not had any takers yet. I was a carpenter at my last job. I can fight fire, run heavy equipment, and I am a pretty good carpenter. If any of you are looking for someone or know a company who is please let me know. I have put in applications everywhere, I even tried convienece stores and fast food. I am ready and willing to work . Thank you
Where in Texas?
Just saw an ad that Arlington is looking for firemen
How good are you running heavy equipment? Also where are you?
Oilfield is hiring. Halliburton in Caldwell and Alice, Pioneer Natural Resources in Victoria lots of others.

Arlington has great civil jobs. Police is top notch, Fire is outstanding, and plenty of overtime opportunities.

And thats why I live here.
I work for National Oilwell Varco in the IMO division. They are hiring anybody with a willingness to put in long hours, a good driving record, and the want to make a lot of money. Our shop here in Odessa as well as Alice and Victoria are all hiring field service techs.
I remember someone posting a link that Larue Tactical was looking for people as well. Sales representatives, if you don't do the CNC thing.
Not sure how current that information is though.

Expect 2 week paychecks of $4k+. It is oilfield though and will go bust sometime though.
