High Power in Wichita Falls
If any of you guys are interested, the Northwest Texas Field and Stream gun club has a reduced course High Power match the first Saturday of every month. July will be our annual Don James Memorial Match. We shoot a 50 round course of fire and welcome new shooters.

Hello GG,
I stopped by today to register as a member and the door to the Club House was locked.
What time Saturday does the match start?
I'll have to check one of those out soon. Haven't been on the Field & Stream range in many years.

The office on Southwest Pkwy is generally open weekdays from about 1:00 - 5:00. The range, where memberships may also be purchased, is open Saturday's and Sunday's and I believe Tuesday evenings for Trap League.
The High Power matches begin at 9:00 a.m. sharp. People usually begin showing up about 8:00 or so.
You guys come on out. For the July match, you only need 50 rounds of ammo plus some for sighters. We have some equipment such as mats, slings and scopes that we can loan out. If you've never fired HP before, there'll likely be at least two relays, so you can watcht the first to kind of see how things workm then shoot the second.

Thank you for the info. I went back to the range this afternoon and the club house was open- so I purchased a membership. I'll see y'all Saturday morning.

Great! Remember: the HP match is the FIRST Saturday of the month, so the next will be July 7.

DOH! Just missed it then... See you then!
Few questions, do you have to be a member?, I understand reduced, what distance?, pits or no?, location/directions/link.

We'll work something out with the membership

Reduced Course of Fire indicates 100 yds. No pits, we walk and score our targets. Here's a link with directions:

Shoot me a message if you need more specific information or especially directions.
