So my sister told me today that my 15 year old nephew was going to be attending a course at Marauders Tactical Training. I've never heard of them before. Granted I'm certainly not up on all the different trainers out there. So I checked out their web site
Marauders Tactical Training. The mock village, smoke grenades and firing with others down range put me off a little bit. I have yet to attend a civilian training course, but most of what they were doing looked more appropriate to miles gear than live fire, at least until the students become extremely proficient. Not to mention they have their own airsoft side of their web site
So has anyone attended one their courses or have any knowledge of their training? Am I way off based thinking their training looks pretty hokey? The shooters appearing to be down range of others really bothered me. Not to mention I always get a wtf feeling when I see infantry type training pushed in a course marketed to civilians. Not CQB stuff, but moving people on a stretcher, etc.
