I need a side saddle for my 870 I use in three gun and prefer the cloth ones over plastic but am open to them. Who makes good ones? I do not want to use tac star. Thanks. -Ben

Rem has 2 different types of forends.
Ones that overlap like a 870 wingmaster for hunting
Ones that dont Like an older 870 Police.
The forend is just shorter to keep it from overlapping, usally is round with circular groves in it. Well at least the wooden ones were.
Go with the VangComp side saddle. This will also allow you to Pre-Load several of the Velcro loop carriers before the match even starts. It has a high quality plate that replaces your trigger pins.
While your at it order their VCS safety, it's the first mod for all my 870's.
