Since this was posted, we've sold quite a few. We now have TWO of the AR-30's in .308 left!

Very nice.
As a child, my Mother told me that happiness was the key to life. At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down "happy". They told me I didn't understand the assignment; I told them they didn't understand life.

Nice. If I didn't already own an AR-50 I'd find a way to afford one.

Well when compared to the Howa you have a American made (both stock and gun), magazine fed, muzzle broke rifle, The Howa is none of those. The Howa is a good gun but different category in my eyes.

The Howa is also not available in 300 win mag or 338 Lapua. The Armalite is a purpose built tactical/long range gun and the howa is a varminter.

You cannot compare a Howa to an Armalite. Silly beans!

(I thought it was against the forum rules to thread crap, anyway!)

If I was not broke as a joke, this'n would be on my short list in .338 Lapua.

Howa...LMFAO. Kind of like saying, "A Colt Target Match II is nice, but I can build two R-Guns for that price!" It's true, but I'd rather have a Colt Nat Match UPPER than 3 complete R-Guns...

I have a .308 AR-30 and just took delivery on a .300WM last week.

I guess I'll have to get a .338LM some day.
If it's a Colt, it's a copy of an original ArmaLite.

I am not LARRYG36.

Racing is life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.

If your AR10 is marked Geneseo, IL, it's still an AR10 no matter what some people say.

Owning an AR-50, I am glad it's not mag fed. Talk about expensive to feed.

I'm no piker and not a slouch either, but I have some expensive dental work pending. I have to keep priorities in order.

I don't have a place to put up photos at the moment, but my AR-50 configuration is unique - I mounted it on a German machine gun tripod.

BTW, LARRYG, your tag line reminds me of something. I have been to gun shoots with LARRYG36. He's fired my AR-50 and liked the mount job. He let me shoot his SAW, an M60, and an M242. I think he got in some kind of legal trouble. I hope he's OK.

Geez, did you not see the smiley?

I have seen your setup and it's pretty neat.

And yes, Larryg36 got into some legal trouble, that is why I put that in there. Several people called me when that happened and thought it was me.
