What size are the retaining pin holes. I recently purchased a virgin Chinese spiker FSB. The holes are pre-started. Are there any jigs to ensure that you drill straight.

They should be standard 3mm. There are no jigs for that really, just good old measuring. I would use a mill at a minimum.

Thanks. Now I just have to find the appropriate bit.

Got from a member here on the EE.
He had another one but it was an American made one.

You'll probably have to order online. I got a couple from http://www.mcmaster.com/ when I did some of that (buy 2-3 in case you break one and don't want to wait another few days for a replacement)

If I am changing the original FSB with a Chinese spiker FSB does it affect my 922r compliance.
