I asked pretty much the same question earlier this week and got this response:

My only question that I still have, is using one with a Magpul AFG at the 9:00 position. Would a normal tailcap switch work better than the switch that comes with the m952v? If I want to run it in this position, what option is best? |

Considering there are probably tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of this combo in the US military, I'd think they work pretty well together, but that's just me.
