THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT Saw a 91 in a local funstore today...fell in love all over once again. Don't know why...I have a carbine 91, I have a shit TON of mags for it. How do they shoot? The 32 isn't punishing at all....are the 91s? I was talking to some of the guys @ the store and they seemed scared of it. I do bet it launches a fireball from hell |

I have a couple of V-51's (308 HK-91 based "Pistol")with the MP-5 style forend. Someone on HKPro IIRC chrono'd Muzzle velocity from a V-51 and it was about 2200 FPS. From an energy standpoint, that is about the same as a 7.62 X 39 in a gun that weighs nearly as much as an underfolder AK.
Due to the above, recoil is similar to an underfolder AK. HK-51 type guns do produce a fireball, and one of the early 51 builders made a flash enhancer. |

The 51 is fun as hell!
It's super loud, giant fireball, everybody at the range will stop and ask what it is. Recoil is fully manageable, and with a sear its really a show. The first thing you will want to do is look into the extended 53 forearm instead of the mp5 version. |

The stock is modified by vector to have a telescoping recoil rod to fit the 51 or full size. It cost $250 on gun broker. |
