Wearing my Orient Mako today, thinking about switching it up with the Oris or Orange Monster tomorrow to start the new work week.

My Pebble Kickstarter Edition:

It's not the prettiest watch, but it is the most versatile I've ever had. Multiple watch faces... it tells me when I get an email, txt or other alert on my phone... among other things.

Just a quck auto watch question.

Is losing about a min a week the norm for a Seiko 7S26 movement (SKX007J)? Setting the watch once a week doesn't really bother me too badly, just would like to know for curiosity sake.

I don't know what is normal or acceptable, but my Seiko now gains several minutes a week. Among a few other issues. Time for a trip to a shop, I think.

Picher thread.

Seiko 7002-7009 A1 150m Dive Watch from 1990. I wore this watch every time I put on my uniform for the next 10+ years. It's seen a bit of banging around various parts of the world. Still works but needs a little TLC, so not much wear right now.

A minute a week aint bad in my book, but I like cheap mechanical watches.

This is where the Vostok is fun. I bought a tool to open 'em. When they settle in, if they're off more than a minute or so every few days, I nudge the little bugger with the plus and minus.

Then I slap it all back together and it's fine.

The seiko might leak afterwards. Vostok not leak. Strong like Russian bear.

I had a Malaysian made movement in a Seiko 5 and it was a steaming pile. I ponied up a few more bucks and bought one with a movement made in Japan. It holds time amazingly well.

Seiko 7548-700F. Just got it back from SCA Service Center yesterday. A little beat up, but a great watch.

It's a Vostok Amphibia, I believe it's model #420640.

The more I wear the OM, the more it grows on me. Probably because it's not just another Sub clone.

Casio Eco-Drive canvas strap watch.

Replaced the olive-ish colored strap with a light tan. Light, comfortable. Works for me as my new casual watch.
